Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pahranagat Valley). They took down the Liberty Baptist Academy Knights 51-34 on Monday. That's more bragging rights for the Panthers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Liberty Baptist Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Josiah Delgado, who posted four points in addition to 11 boards and seven blocks. Delgado is crushing it when it comes to boards: he's pulled down at least 11 every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Brandon Kiel, who had ten points and six rebounds.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Pahranagat Valley, bringing their record for this year to 7-7. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.5 points per game. As for Liberty Baptist Academy, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pahranagat Valley will head out to face off against Sandy Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Liberty Baptist Academy, they will head out on the road to take on Beaver Dam at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
