Volleyball Recap: Ridgeview Takes a Loss

Ridgeview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Georgetown-Ridge Farm Buffaloes. The Mustangs were not able to make up for their loss to the Buffaloes from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Ridgeview started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 14-25, 25-18, 15-10.

Ridgeview's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Georgetown-Ridge Farm, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-4.

Ridgeview has already played their next contest (against Tri-Point), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Georgetown-Ridge Farm, they will welcome Urbana University at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
