Apex Friendship is 10-0 against Cary since September of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. Meanwhile, Cary was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to Holly Springs.

Despite the loss, Cary saw an underclassman step up: Andrea Quiroz had 17 digs and two aces.
Apex Friendship now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Cary, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-4.
