Basketball Game Preview: Bruton Panthers vs. Grafton Clippers

Bruton is 0-10 against Grafton since December of 2019 but things could change on Wednesday. The Bruton Panthers are taking a road trip to challenge the Grafton Clippers at 7:00 p.m. Bruton is coming into the match hot, having won their last seven games.

It was a proper cat-fight when Bruton took on Warhill on Monday. Bruton skirted past Warhill 55-52. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Panthers have posted since January 17, 2024.

Meanwhile, Grafton unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Monday. They fell 64-57 to Smithfield.

Bruton pushed their record up to 10-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Grafton, they now have a losing record at 6-7.

Bruton came up short against Grafton when the teams last played back in December of 2024, falling 72-59. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Grafton's Jakobe Brownlee, who went 11 of 13 en route to 25 points and three steals.
