Volleyball Recap: Quincy's Losing Streak Snapped at Three Games

Quincy can bid farewell to their three-match losing streak thanks to their match on Saturday. They came out on top against the Fortuna Huskies by a score of 2-0.

Marleigh Merino paced Quincy's offense, picking up 11 kills. Merino got some help from Skylar McCarthy and her 14 assists. Jemma Trueblood controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Quincy's win bumped their record up to 28-7-1. As for Fortuna, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-20.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Quincy will challenge Portola at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fortuna, they will take on McKinleyville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
