Basketball Game Preview: Ludlow Panthers vs. St. Henry Crusaders

Ludlow hasn't had much luck against St. Henry recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Ludlow Panthers will be home for the holidays to greet the St. Henry Crusaders at 6:00 p.m. Ludlow knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven matchups -- so hopefully St. Henry likes a good challenge.

Last Thursday, Ludlow humbled Dayton with a 93-62 victory. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 31 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Henry). They simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat Villa Madonna 76-33. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

The victory got St. Henry back to even at 3-3. As for Ludlow, their win bumped their record up to 6-1.

Ludlow came up short against St. Henry in their previous meeting back in January, falling 69-59. Can Ludlow avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
