Seneca is 8-2 against North East since May of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Bobcats will take on the Grape Pickers at 4:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Seneca has six straight wins, North East has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

While Seneca didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-10), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over Iroquois on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Bobcats, who have now won five games by eight runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, North East fell victim to Northwestern and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 6-0 to the Wildcats. That's two games in a row now that the Grape Pickers have lost by exactly six runs.

Seneca pushed their record up to 6-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games. As for North East, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.

Everything went Seneca's way against North East in their previous meeting on April 1st, as Seneca made off with an 11-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bobcats since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
