After a string of four wins, Orosi's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 56-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sierra Chieftains. The Cardinals were probably out for revenge after losing 64-36 to them when the teams met back in November of 2019, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Orosi's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Sierra, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-2.

Orosi will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Woodlake at 6:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Sierra, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 46-35 defeat against Exeter on the 21st.
