Volleyball Recap: Walkertown Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Walkertown entered their match against McMichael on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Wolfpack lost 3-0 to the Phoenix. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Phoenix this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-20, 25-10.

Madison Holmes paced Walkertown's offense, picking up five kills. Holmes got some help from Chloe Isaacs and her 13 assists. Macy Miller controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Among those leading the charge was Emily Smith, who had nine digs and two aces.

Walkertown's defeat dropped their record down to 11-5. As for McMichael, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-7 record this season.

Walkertown wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Morehead on the 25th. As for McMichael, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Reidsville on the 25th.
