Volleyball Recap: Mulberry Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

Mulberry waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the Haines City Hornets. That's more bragging rights for the Panthers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-18, 25-14.

Erick Osorio paced Mulberry's offense, picking up ten kills. Osorio got some help from Jayden Williams and his 25 assists. Williams was also solid from the service line: he led the team with eight aces.

Mulberry's victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0. As for Haines City, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Coming up, Mulberry will venture away from home to face off against Ridge Community at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Haines City, they will host George Jenkins at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
