Basketball Game Preview: Bunker Hill Minutemen vs. Carrollton Hawks

Bunker Hill is 2-8 against Carrollton since December of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Bunker Hill Minutemen will challenge the Carrollton Hawks at 7:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Friday, Bunker Hill strolled past Pawnee with points to spare, taking the game 58-43.

It was another big night for Cole Yates, who posted 23 points. Another player making a difference was Will Manar, who earned ten points.

Meanwhile, it may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Carrollton ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They snuck past Calhoun with a 68-63 victory.

Bunker Hill's record now sits at 11-17. As for Carrollton, their record now sits at 15-12.

Bunker Hill came up short against Carrollton in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, falling 55-44. Can Bunker Hill avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
