League recap: Beckmann races to league-leading run for Bloomfield

D1 District 6 (8 Man) recap September 10, 2013

Cody Beckmann of Bloomfield ran for the longest rushing play in D1 District 6 (8 Man) this season against Hartington last week. Beckmann ran for 73 yards on the play and finished with 223 on the day as his team beat the Wildcats.

Creighton took down Clearwater/Orchard 74-6 last week, the largest margin of any game. Jacob Morill ran for 182 yards during the win.

The Bulldogs' dynamic duo of Austin Diedrichsen and Seth Wilmes proved to be unstoppable against the Cyclones, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Diedrichsen threw for 22 yards and Wilmes had 32 yards receiving.

Creighton's dynamic duo of Diedrichsen and Wilmes proved tough for Clearwater/Orchard to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.

Beckmann was a passing and rushing force as Bloomfield defeated Hartington.

Wilmes was the best wideout in the league this week as Jeff Jensen's team topped Jeff Shabram's team.

Beau Schindler was a key player and the best on defense this week as the Bulldogs bested the Cyclones. The 6-foot-4 junior.

Beckmann was the most successful running back in the league this week. Teammate Trent Johnson added to the ground attack by rushing for 65 yards.

Diedrichsen put up the best numbers through the air as Creighton defeated Clearwater/Orchard.

Beckmann was a beast in the backfield as Matt Kuchar's team beat Blair Kalin's team.

The Bulldogs' 5-foot-11 quarterback Colton Boelter is the league leader in passing yards this season with 67. The leading receiver in the league this season is Blake Schrage. The Elgin/Pope John star has 2 catches for 44 yards.

Creighton led D1 District 6 (8 Man) in scoring this week after putting up 74 points on the Cyclones. Morill in the win.
