Madison West had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They never let the Madison East Purgolders get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory on Thursday. Madison West's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three contests.

Pearce St. John and Liam Cahill scored both of Madison West's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 13 goals.

Madison West's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-1-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 31 goals over those five matches. As for Madison East, their loss dropped their record down to 11-4-6.
