Lathrop faced Wasilla in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Malemutes beat the Warriors by a goal, winning 1-0. Lathrop wouldn't have won without Emmy Eddy, who scored the game-winner.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Lathrop, bringing their record up to 4-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those four matches. As for Wasilla, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 9-2-1 record.
