Volleyball Recap: Scott Takes a Loss

Scott lost against Charleston Catholic back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Skyhawks took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Irish. The Skyhawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-7.

Charleston Catholic was led to victory by Ali Wilcox and Elena Gould. Wilcox had 14 digs and two aces, while Gould had 18 assists.

Scott's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Charleston Catholic, they pushed their record up to 14-1-1 with the victory, which was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Scott will head out to square off against Sherman at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Charleston Catholic, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Wyoming East at 7:00 p.m.
