Basketball Recap: Mesivta Sets Scoring Season-High Against Barrack Hebrew Academy

Mesivta's game two weeks ago was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. Everything went their way against the Barrack Hebrew Academy Cougars as the Mesivta Mustangs made off with a 62-40 victory. The Mustangs' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Dov Hirsch was the offensive standout of the match as he posted 18 points and five boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Shaked Ben-David, who earned 13 points.

Mesivta is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. As for Barrack Hebrew Academy, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mesivta will head out to square off against Kohelet Yeshiva at 9:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Barrack Hebrew Academy, they will take on George School at 4:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
