Volleyball Recap: Santa Fe Comes Up Short

Santa Fe lost against Lone Jack back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Chiefs fell 2-0 to the Mules.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-13.

Sue Vandiver paced Santa Fe's offense, picking up seven kills. Vandiver got some help from Mae Vandiver and her 14 assists. Keastin Kitchen controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Santa Fe's loss dropped their record down to 13-9-4. As for Lone Jack, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-7-3 record this season.

Santa Fe has already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Wellington-Napoleon on the 11th. Lone Jack has also already played their next contest (against Crest Ridge), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
