Basketball Recap: Classen SAS's Loss Ends Five-Game Winning Streak on the Road

After flying high against Guymon last Saturday, Classen SAS came back down to earth. The Classen SAS Comets fell 62-50 to the Del City Eagles on Tuesday. The Comets' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Classen SAS's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mike Dugas, who went 5 of 8 en route to 14 points and five boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Josiah Morales, who posted 14 points and three steals.

Classen SAS's defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-5. As for Del City, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-4 record.

Classen SAS will be playing at home against Midwest City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Del City, they will face off against Duncan at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Del City is facing Duncan at the right time seeing as Duncan is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
