Volleyball Recap: Alpena Comes Up Short

Alpena was the 3-2 winner over Sault Area when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Wildcats fell 3-1 to the Blue Devils on Tuesday. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Alpena's loss dropped their record down to 3-8-1. As for Sault Area, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-3-1.

Looking ahead, Alpena will head out to square off against Traverse City West at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sault Area, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against Petoskey on the 11th.
