Basketball Recap: West Blocton Takes a Loss

West Blocton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They took a blow against the Bessemer City Tigers, falling 60-23. West Blocton was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 30-10.

West Blocton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Bessemer City, their win bumped their record up to 5-19.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the West Blocton Tigers challenge the Prattville Christian Academy Panthers at 5:45 p.m. on Monday. West Blocton is facing Prattville Christian Academy at the right time seeing as Prattville Christian Academy is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Bessemer City, they will square off against Montevallo at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
