Softball Recap: Ridgeview Takes a Loss

Ridgeview saw some tournament action on Saturday. They came up short against the California City Ravens, falling 11-1. The match marked the Wolf Pack's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Ana Fuentes made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run. That home run marked the first that she launched this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Ridgeview and nudges their season record down to 6-5-1. As for California City, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-6 record this season.

Ridgeview didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 6-4 defeat against Rosamond on the 29th. As for California City, they have also already played their next game, a 9-6 loss against Bishop Union on the 29th.
