Volleyball Game Preview: Streamwood Sabres vs. West Aurora Blackhawks

The Streamwood Sabres will challenge the West Aurora Blackhawks at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Streamwood's tournament run continued when they took on Taft on Saturday. The Sabres narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Eagles 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Sabres.

Meanwhile, West Aurora was able to grind out a solid victory over Geneva on Monday, taking the game 2-0.

West Aurora never let Geneva on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 27-25.

Streamwood's win bumped their record up to 12-7. As for West Aurora, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.
