Volleyball Recap: Huntington Beach Continues Home Dominance on Saturday

Huntington Beach had already won seven in a row and they went ahead and made it eight on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Loyola Cubs as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's the fourth time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 3-0 win back in March.

Huntington Beach pushed their record up to 34-3 with the victory, which was their 14th straight at home. As for Loyola, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 27-7.

After both having extra time off, Huntington Beach and Mira Costa will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Mustangs will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Oilers surely won't give up without a fight. Loyola does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
