Soccer Game Preview: Jenks vs. Broken Arrow

The Jenks Trojans will face off against the Broken Arrow Tigers at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Jenks' last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Last Tuesday, Jenks didn't have quite enough to beat Bixby and fell 2-1. That's two games in a row now that Jenks have lost by just one goal.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Broken Arrow, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They never let Booker T. Washington get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory on Tuesday. Given Broken Arrow's advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma soccer rankings (they are ranked tenth, while Booker T. Washington are ranked 42nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Broken Arrow is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3-2 record this season. Jenks has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 1-5-3 record this season.
