Basketball Recap: Craig Panthers vs. Bethel Warriors
It was fun while it lasted, but Craig's undefeated season came to an end after six games on Friday. They fell 48-36 to the Bethel Warriors. The loss put an end to the Panthers' undefeated start to the season.

Craig's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sara Steffen, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds. Steffen is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down ten or more in the last 11 games she's played dating back to last season. Faith Horner was another key player, putting up eight points and five rebounds.
Having lost for the first time this season, Craig fell to 6-1. As for Bethel, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.
