Basketball Recap: Loganville Christian Academy Takes a Loss

If Loganville Christian Academy was feeling good fresh off their 69-39 takedown of The Weber School last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Loganville Christian Academy Lions took a 55-39 bruising from the Lakeside Vikings on Saturday. The contest marked the Lions' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Lakeside found their leader in freshman Sterling Pritchett, who posted 20 points. Another player making a difference was Cameron Funna, who earned seven points and 13 rebounds.

Loganville Christian Academy's loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Lakeside, their win ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Loganville Christian Academy will take on George Walton Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Loganville Christian Academy is facing George Walton Academy at the right time seeing as George Walton Academy is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Lakeside, they will square off against Tri-Cities at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
