Basketball Recap: Glendale Comes Up Short

Glendale was the 46-41 winner over Southern Huntingdon County when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Glendale Vikings lost 68-48 to the Southern Huntingdon County Rockets on Monday.

When it comes to explaining why Glendale lost, don't look at Landen McGarvey. Despite the final result, he posted 17 points and seven rebounds. Levi Hamilton was another key player, putting up four points.

Glendale has been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 16 matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season. As for Southern Huntingdon County, their victory bumped their record up to 10-11.

Glendale does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Southern Huntingdon County, they will venture away from home to challenge Central Cambria at 7:00 p.m. on February 18th.
