Softball Recap: Amelia Academy Patriots vs. Brunswick Academy Vikings
Amelia Academy extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 22 on Monday, dropping their season record down to 0-11 in the process. They lost 15-0 to the Brunswick Academy Vikings. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 19-3 back in March.
As for Brunswick Academy, their record is now 13-4. The result was nothing new for the Vikings, who have now won 11 matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.
For Brunswick Academy's part, Lexi Vaughan Howerton and Avery Griffin made a big impact no matter where they played. On the mound, Howerton pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Griffin tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.
