Sandia Prep extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Lauren Wilkerson. The Sundevils put the hurt on the Socorro Warriors with a sharp 3-0 victory on Thursday with plenty of help from Wilkerson, who had eight aces and seven digs. She has been hot, having posted two or more aces the last six times she's played.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Sandia Prep took every set by at least 16 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-9, 25-7.

Sandia Prep's record is now 9-3. As for Socorro, they dropped their record down to 1-11 with the loss, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Sandia Prep will challenge Robertson at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Socorro, they will square off against Mountainair at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
