Basketball Recap: Lancaster's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak at Home

Lancaster entered their contest against Groveport-Madison on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Lancaster Golden Gales fell 68-55 to the Groveport-Madison Cruisers. The Golden Gales were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cruisers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.

Lancaster's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-1. As for Groveport-Madison, their victory ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lancaster will be home for the holidays to greet Pickerington Central at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Groveport-Madison, they and Lincoln will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played.
