Soccer Recap: J.F. Webb Takes a Loss

J.F. Webb was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 9-1 to the Granville Central Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Granville Central this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-0 back in April.

J.F. Webb's goal came courtesy of Victoria Jordan, who's now up to seven this season.

J.F. Webb's loss dropped their record down to 0-19-1. As for Granville Central, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-6-1 record this season.

J.F. Webb didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 9-0 defeat against Louisburg on the 7th. As for Granville Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 9-0 loss against Carrboro on the 7th.
