Loudoun Valley is 9-1 against Rock Ridge since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Vikings will be playing in front of their home fans against the Phoenix at 7:15 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Monday, Loudoun Valley didn't have quite enough to beat Tuscarora and fell 4-3.

Meanwhile, Rock Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Heritage. That's two games in a row now that Rock Ridge have lost by just one goal.

Rock Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9-3. As for Loudoun Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4-3.

Loudoun Valley beat Rock Ridge 3-1 in their previous matchup back in April. Will the Vikings repeat their success, or do the Phoenix have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
