Baseball Recap: Four Straight Home Victories for Bunnell

Bunnell won against Bullard-Havens last Friday with 13 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. The Bulldogs' pitchers stepped up to hand the Harding Presidents a 13-0 shutout. The win continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Presidents: they've now won eight in a row.

Bunnell pushed their record up to 4-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 13.0 runs this season. As for Harding, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bunnell will welcome Notre Dame Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lancers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.88 runs per game on average), something the Bulldogs will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Harding, they will host Weston at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
