The Classical Academy waltzed into their match on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Sierra Stallions. That's more bragging rights for the Titans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: The Classical Academy took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-6, 25-14.

The Classical Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Avery Jaeger, who had 15 assists and three aces. Jaeger is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 15 or more in each of the last five games she's played. Claire Gilbert was another key player, getting eight aces.

They weren't the only good servers: The Classical Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 31 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since the start of last season.

The Classical Academy's record now sits at 8-1. As for Sierra, they dropped their record down to 1-6 with the loss, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

The Classical Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Sand Creek on the 25th. As for Sierra, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Mitchell on the 25th.
