The Eastwood Eagles will challenge the Otsego Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Eastwood is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Eastwood is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Fostoria 51-0 at home. Considering the Eagles have won five games by more than 41 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Cam Schumaker and he. Schumaker gained 85 total yards and two touchdowns while he gained 85 total yards and two touchdowns. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack and making five total tackles in addition to snagging an interception.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Eastwood was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 204 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in November of 2023.

One reason for the win was Eastwood's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. Connor Norton was especially locked on to Fostoria's QB and sacked him twice.

While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 255th, while the Rockets are ranked 89th).

Eastwood's win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0. As for Otsego, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-3.
