Baseball Recap: Pleasant Home's Run of Four Straight Victories Now Over

It was a good run, but Pleasant Home unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Elba Tigers by a score of 15-14. The Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 10-8.

Logan Cook stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: he scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-5. He has become a key player for Pleasant Home: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 3-12 otherwise. Jack Wiggins was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-4.

Pleasant Home's loss dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Elba, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-13.

As of now, neither Pleasant Home nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
