Basketball Recap: Kennett Comes Up Short

If Kennett was riding high fresh off their 77-21 takedown of Berlin last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Kennett Eagles fell just short of the Oyster River Bobcats by a score of 54-52 on Monday. The Eagles were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bobcats from their previous meeting back in January of 2024.

Kennett's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Oyster River, their win bumped their record up to 7-2.

While Kennett had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
