Softball Game Preview: Reynolds Raiders vs. Parkrose Broncos

The Reynolds Raiders will venture away from home to face off against the Parkrose Broncos at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Reynolds managed to slip by Beaverton the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Raiders lost 16-7 to the Beavers on Wednesday. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Parkrose was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 28th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Liberty, falling 15-8. On the bright side, the eight- run effort marked the Broncos' highest-scoring contest to date.

Parkrose's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Reynolds, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

Reynolds couldn't quite get it done against Parkrose when the teams last played back in March of 2018 as they fell 5-1. Can the Raiders avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
