Soccer Game Preview: Adrian vs. Marshall

The Adrian Maples will head out to take on the Marshall Redhawks at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Marshall will square off against a team with plenty of momentum: Adrian extended their winning streak to seven on Wednesday. The Maples put the hurt on Jackson with a sharp 9-1 win. Given Adrian's advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 41st, while Jackson are ranked 206th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Marshall kept a clean sheet against Hastings on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 7-0 margin over the Saxons. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Marshall considering their one-goal performance the match before.

Marshall's victory bumped their record up to 11-4-1. As for Adrian, their win bumped their record up to 14-2.
