Soccer Recap: Williams Falls to Western Alamance

If Williams was feeling good off their 6-3 takedown of Eastern Alamance last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bulldogs took a 7-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Western Alamance Warriors on Monday.

Williams' loss dropped their record down to 16-4-3. Western Alamance (19-1-1) has been on a roll lately: they've now won 48 of their last 50 matches, dating back to last year.

Williams and Western Alamance should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings. The Bulldogs will face off against Person at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday with a big rank advantage (#78 vs. #550). Meanwhile, Western Alamance will have a rank advantage in their game against Southern Alamance at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
