Central came tearing into Wednesday's match with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.1 points) and they left with even more momentum. They beat the Dutchtown Griffins by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 65-42. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 23 points or more this season.

Central is also on a roll lately: they've won 18 of their last 19 games, which provided a nice bump to their 22-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.2 points per game. As for Dutchtown, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-19.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Central Wildcats face off against the St. Martinville Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Martinville will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Central surely won't give up without a fight. Dutchtown has already played their next matchup (against Prairieville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
