Milton is preparing for their first district matchup of the season on Friday. They will venture away from home to challenge the Mosley Dolphins at 7:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Friday.
Milton lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Navarre, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's matchup. The Panthers blew past the Raiders 53-27 on Friday. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Panthers had established a 20-point advantage.

Milton's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kyle Paul, who rushed for 78 yards and a pair of scores on only eight carries. The dominant performance also gave Paul a new career-high in rushing touchdowns (two). Milton also got a significant boost from Antonio Middleton, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 113 yards.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Milton was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 383 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
Another reason for the win was Milton's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for eight sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Mathew McDonald and Quameek Benton, who racked up five sacks between them. McDonald is also crushing it when it comes to total tackles: he's made at least six every time he's taken the field this season.
Meanwhile, Mosley waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 46-15 victory over the Gators. The result was nothing new for the Dolphins, who have now won three games by 20 points or more so far this season.
Milton better keep an eye on Samuel Chisolm. He was instrumental in Mosley's win, rushing for 94 yards and three TDs. The team also got some help courtesy of Carson Griffin, who picked up 89 receiving yards and one touchdown.
Milton's record now sits at 5-0. As for Mosley, their record is now 4-1.
Friday's contest might be decided on the ground. Milton has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 245.4 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Mosley struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 153.8 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's matchup turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Milton was dealt a bruising 42-14 loss at the hands of Mosley in their previous meeting back in September of 2024. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
