Basketball Recap: Parkrose Takes a Loss

Parkrose was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 90-14 to the Wilsonville Wildcats, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. While losing is never fun, the Broncos can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 249th, while the Wildcats are ranked 77th).

Parkrose's loss dropped their record down to 3-19. As for Wilsonville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches, which provided a massive bump to their 13-9 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Parkrose will square off against La Salle at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wilsonville, they will head out on the road to face off against Hillsboro at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Hillsboro has won four straight at home, while Wilsonville won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
