Softball Recap: Hazen Highlanders vs. Lindbergh Eagles
Hazen put the finishing touches on their eighth blowout victory of the season on Friday. They blew past the Lindbergh Eagles 18-5. The victory was familiar territory for Hazen who now have three in a row.
Mariah McCullough made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and only one hit over 4.1 innings pitched. McCullough was also big at the plate, scoring three runs while going 2-for-3.
In other batting news, Kenzie Galliano was incredible, going 3-for-3 with a home run, seven RBI, and four runs. Keegan Castro was another key contributor, going 2-for-4 with three runs, a triple, and two RBI.
On Lindbergh's side, Hailey Rasmussen made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with a triple, a run, and an RBI.
Hazen's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-7. As for Lindbergh, they now have a losing record at 7-8.
