Soccer Recap: Alma Takes a Loss

Alma was the 2-1 winner over Swan Valley when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Panthers fell 2-0 to the Vikings on Wednesday. Alma fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against Swan Valley since Wednesday.

This is the second loss in a row for Alma and nudges their season record down to 5-2. As for Swan Valley, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-2.

Looking ahead, Alma will head out to face off against Elk Rapids at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Swan Valley, they will face off against Ithaca at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
