Basketball Game Preview: St. Charles vs. Westlake Wolverines + How To Watch

For the first time this season, St. Charles will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will challenge the Westlake Wolverines on Friday. Westlake took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on St. Charles, who comes in off a win.

On Wednesday, St. Charles strolled past McDonough with points to spare, taking the game 64-49.

Meanwhile, Westlake came up short against Severna Park on Monday and fell 61-48. The loss continues a trend for the Wolverines in their meetings with the Falcons: they've now lost three in a row.

St. Charles will have to keep a close watch on Israel Warner and Ethan Minkan, a pair of players who had a big impact on Westlake's prior game. Warner shot 78% from the field on his way to 15 points, while Minkan posted nine points. Another player making a difference was Dominick Wallace-Lewis, who had seven points.

St. Charles didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Westlake when the teams last played back in February, but they still walked away with a 62-56 victory. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Westlake's Damian Gore, who went 8-for-10 to rack up 17 points and six rebounds.
