 Mount Tahoma was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Wednesday as the team picked up their 12th straight  defeat. Their  rough  9-1 loss to the Lakes Lancers  might stick with them for a while. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Mount Tahoma of the  4-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  last Tuesday.
  Jacob Roux was cooking despite his team's loss,   scoring a  run and  stealing two bases while going 1-for-2. Another player making a difference was  Jeff Sigette, who  went 2-for-3 with three  stolen bases.
 Mount Tahoma's loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Lakes, the  victory was  the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-10-1.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mount Tahoma will take on Tyee at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. Tyee will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  win, something Mount Tahoma surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lakes, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Franklin Pierce at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
