Haverford is 9-1 against Lower Merion since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Fords will head out on the road to take on the Aces at 5:15 p.m.

Haverford is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Pennsylvania's top teams: Spring-Ford, who was ranked 23rd at the time (Haverford was ranked eighth). The Fords fell 3-1 to the Rams on Tuesday. The matchup marked the Fords' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

The final score came out to 25-15, 16-25, 25-22, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Lower Merion got the win against William Tennent on Monday by a conclusive 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Aces.

Lower Merion didn't let William Tennent take a single set, but it sure wasn't easy: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-22, 25-22.

Lower Merion's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-2. As for Haverford, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 6-1.

Everything went Haverford's way against Lower Merion in their previous meeting last Tuesday, as Haverford made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Fords since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
