Recap: Casady Cyclones vs. Hoops for Christ Warriors

The Casady Cyclones's three-game losing streak came to an end on Tuesday. They walked away with a 49-36 win over Hoops for Christ. That's another feather in the cap for Casady, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.

Casady got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Trinity Boone out in front who scored 22 points along with four steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Boone has scored at least a third of Casady's points. Kate Naifeh was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on ten points and 14 rebounds.

Casady's win bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Hoops for Christ, they dropped their record down to 0-4 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Casady will face off against Kingfisher at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Kingfisher will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak. Hoops for Christ on the road again on Tuesday and play against Destiny Christian at 6:00 p.m. on January 30th.
