Basketball Recap: Lazbuddie Takes a Loss

Lazbuddie played a tough match on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against the Kress Kangaroos, falling 43-7. The Longhorns haven't had much luck with the Kangaroos recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.

Lazbuddie used a three-pronged attack on offense: Jacqueline Nunez, Deveny Pacheco, and Brynlie Cleavinger posted two points each. Brooke Cleavinger held things down on the boards with five rebounds.

Lazbuddie's defeat dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Kress, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-6.

Lazbuddie has already played their next game, a 38-20 win against Springlake-Earth on the 7th. As for Kress, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 48-30 victory against Hart on the 7th.
